HARVARD INDEPENDENT COLLEGE ESSAY COACHING
The Harvard Independent College Essay Coaching Program is an opportunity to meet one-on-one with Harvard Independent editors to help craft and edit your college application essays.
The program will help students receive expert help with editing essays and gain insight into how to perfect your college admissions portfolio.

Impact
The Harvard Independent College Essay Coaching Program will run on a rolling basis throughout the summer and fall. The program offers students the opportunity to work directly with Harvard Independent writers and editors, who will provide detailed feedback on their college essays, including comments on structure, voice, clarity, and overall impact. In addition, each student will coordinate a one-on-one 30-minute meeting with their paired mentor to review feedback and discuss revisions in greater depth.
Our goal is to help students feel more confident in their writing and college applications by providing individualized guidance from experienced Harvard student writers and editors.
Students may apply directly through the application linked here. Due to application volume, we encourage students to apply early to ensure availability with a mentor who fits their schedule. The cost of the program is $85.
